The animal park stretches on the 60 remaining hectares and shelters deer, stags and roes. They peacefully live in this part of the estate which is managed in a more wildly way. A wooden tower allows to watch them.

Nowadays, The park of Vizille belongs to the natural and sensible space network of Isère ; a classification which identify redeemable places in terms of natural heritage (fauna, flora and landscapes).

In order to preserve the species' tranquillity, bikes and pets are forbidden.

One can have a commented visit of the park while visiting it on board of a small train.

A pony riding school and the discovery of the regional agricultural

activities can punctuate your visit (Information : 04 76 68 07 35)

The gardens and the animal park are open everyday

except on Tuesdays and on May 1st .

• March, April, May, September and October : 9 a.m. - 7 p.m

• From June till August : 9 a.m – 8 p.m (every day)

• From November till February : 10 a.m – 5 p.m
